In celebration of the inaugural Philippine Architecture Festival - National Architectural Month 2024, the Department of Architecture held Kasidlakan 2024 at the 𝗨𝗣 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗛𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺 and 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 on December 9, 2024.
The various models and projects displayed in the exhibit were proudly made by our UP Mindanao Architecture students.
The program and exhibit was spearheaded by Asst. Prof. Nory Loyd Pernes with the help of the UP Mindanao Architecture Student Council and UAPSA-UPMin.

Projects of UP Mindanao DA Alumni shortlisted in WAF 2024
The Department of Architecture celebrates the accomplishments of its graduates, with two projects making the shortlist for the prestigious World Architecture Festival 2024. These projects are among the eight from the Philippines to be recognized, and uniquely, they are the sole representatives from Davao City. The festival is scheduled to take place from November 6 to 8, 2024, at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

The same project also received the UAP Design Awards 2024 Urban and Masterplan of the Year and Asia Architecture Awards 2024 Best Commercial Building Architecture Design.
Ar. Gloryrose Dy-Metilla graduated in 2009 and Ar. Leslie Tom Pagaduan graduated in 2007.

UP Mindanao achieved 100% passing rate in the 2023 Architecture Licensure Exam held Jan. 25 and 27, 2023 with 7 board passers:

Ar. Mia Fatma Tilendo
Ar. Kenneth Viovicente
Ar. Dawnelli M. Luar of Batch 2018 placed 7th in the ALE.
A national total of 1,980 out of 3,473 (57%) examinees passed.

We are now accepting applications for DURP for AY 2023-2024 until 15 April 2023. You may fill out the form and submit the requirements via this application form. Please prepare to upload:
Your recent photo (in JPG format)
Scanned copy of your Transcript of Records (in PDF format)
Certificate of Good Moral Character (in PDF format)
Reference Forms are to be duly accomplished by at least 2 references, and e-mailed directly to architecture.upmin@up.edu.ph on or before 15 April 2023 as well. An application fee (PhP200) and examination fee (PhP150) in cash shall be collected on the date of the exam. For your guidance, below is the schedule of the 2023 Admissions Process:
15 April - deadline for Applications (online)
29 April - Entrance Exam (in-person, time and venue to be announced via e-mail)
27 May - Interview for passing and waitlisted examinees (online)
August - start of AY 2023-2024
UP Mindanao 2018 Magna Cum Laude places 3rd in architecture licensure exam
UPMin Department of Architecture has 100% passing rate
- Ar. Julius Benedict A. Brillante (BSA 2018) is among 30 passers from the Department of Architecture
- With 30 takers passing the exam, UPMin achieved a 100% passing rate for the ALE 2022
Face to face Graduation for Batch 2020 - 2022
First on-site graduation since the start of the pandemic was held in the University of the Philippines, Mindanao Campus for the batch of 2020, 2021, and 2022!
